Wondering when would we be able to try and start the medications

Jace - 1 year old
The future is so full of uncertainty that is what makes faith and trust in God to be truly put to the test.

"Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD." (Psalm 31:24)

After deciding to try again and hoping for another invitro miracle baby, things are always tough. Of course! For parents like us that wanted to bad to have a child, difficulties are always in the way. I think about the huge difference between walking into the hallways of a fertility clinic, versus an abortion clinic. The first one is filled with people desperately trying to conceive a child, and the second one has people trying to kill one. I don't understand why people that don't want a baby aren't the ones with fertility issues. I can see the frustration it brings to my wife, every time we hear about another person whom has decided to terminate a pregnancy, because of whatever reason. And the sad reality is that the highest percentage of those is because it was not "convenient" to have that child. Seriously, I cannot understand it! Something as precious and defenseless as a baby, it is another human life that God spent time creating in his/her mother's womb.

So, here is our update. For us to try again Jess had to go through another surgery. It was done four weeks ago, the doctor came out with the good news that it wasn't too bad, and that we could be able to try the embryo transfer in few weeks! We were so happy and shocked that it could happen so quickly. Awesome!!!

This time it is so much easier for us. I know it is easier because we've seen God doing miracles in front of our own eyes. And after that experience we have no doubts about His amazing love and power.

"For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good." (Psalm 52:9)

Now we just have to sit and wait on the tests results from the clinic to see if we can do the embryo transfer next week. If the answer is yes, then I need to start giving the injections to my wife. And for the first time, she is really excited to start getting shots.

I posted Jace picture because every time we see him, we see what God has done, and gives us the encouragement to try again.

  1. Yes, we got positive test reviews from the doctors. On Friday, Jess starts the medications to prepare for the embryo transfer on next week :)

    Thank you God!
